SELECTION CRITERIA
The teens are also identified through a
collaborative effort among the Council's Region Directors, school
counselors, Juvenile Court personnel, youth agencies, churches and
civic organizations. A culturally diverse group of 14 to 17 year
old at-risk female teens are selected from across North Carolina.
Each year, the selection process yields participants who meet one or
more of the selection criteria.
